Downloading an individual photo, illustration, or video
If you don't have a prepaid download pack or a Premium Access agreement, you can download photos, illustrations, or video clips as you go by adding them to your basket. Once you complete your purchase, simply click the Download button to receive your files.
Downloading via prepaid packs
Purchasing a prepaid pack lets you pay upfront for a bundle of 5 or 10 downloads in a predetermined size (small, medium, or large). You can download any combination of royalty-free creative photos, videos, illustrations, vectors, and most editorial images.
To download a file using your pack, simply go to a file’s details page and select UltraPack. Alternatively, download straight from the search results page using the UltraPack button.
Before you download, you can choose a file’s size up to the largest available via your pack. For example, if you purchased a medium size pack, you can download small or medium files, but not large or extra large.

Downloading via a Premium Access agreement
Premium Access agreements are annual, capped download agreements that let your entire team download the files they need, with no daily or monthly download limits. Available in a variety of highly customisable plans, you can access photos, illustrations, video clips and music from a wide variety of royalty-free, rights-managed and rights-ready collections.
When you set yourself up with a Premium Access agreement, by default your search results will only include images from collections available for download via your agreement. To search for files not available for download via your Premium Access agreement, simply deselect it from the agreements filter on the search results page.
Downloading single files
To download a photo, illustration or video clip that’s included via your Premium Access agreement, simply go to a file’s details page and click Premium Access download. You can also download directly from the search results page using the Premium Access download button on assets where it appears.

I want to redownload an audio file I've already licensed, but I’m not sure how to find it again. Can you help?
Go to your Getty Images account Download History page to find all previously downloaded content. Click on the access link for the content you want to redownload. It will redirect you to the Triple Scoop partner portal “my stuff” page where you can redownload your content again.
Audio files from the legacy Getty Images Music and Epidemic Sound catalogues are no longer accessible. You can continue to use music files downloaded locally prior to August 26, 2024, subject to your licence agreement.
Downloading a comp
You’re welcome to use our images free of charge in your work-in-progress projects for test or sample purposes, for up to 30 days from the date of download. However, if you don’t purchase a licence, you can’t use the comp image in any final materials or any publicly available materials.
To download a comp, simply go to a file’s details page or the search results page and click the Comp button below the image.

Differences in downloaded file size
When you download a file from Getty Images, you may notice that the file size is compressed. To view the uncompressed file size prior to download, refer to the Size Guide on your file’s detailed information page. A reference chart will pop up showing you the uncompressed file sizes, located in the far right-hand column. You’ll also be given sizes in pixels, inches and dpi, and some common uses for that size.
