Japan: 17 Injured After Man Stabs Passengers, Starts Fire On Train In Western Tokyo
A 24-year-old man was arrested after brandishing a knife and lighting a fire on a train in Tokyo on Sunday night, October 31. The incident occurred on a Keio Line train near Kokuryo Station in the western Tokyo city of Chofu at around 8:00 p.m. 17 people were injured including a 72-year-old passenger who was stabbed on the train. This video posted on social media shows a number of emergency vehicles and personnel outside the station after the incident.
