Streets of Toyonaka in Osaka Prefecture left in darkness in wake of powerful typhoon
Video footage taken on Sept. 5 from a helicopter flying above Toyonaka in Osaka Prefecture shows a portion of the city left in darkness after Typhoon No. 21 ripped through the area. The typhoon knocked out power to 2.18 million households throughout the six prefectures of the Kinki region as well as in parts of Fukui and Mie prefectures, according to Kansai Electric Power Co. About 310,000 households were still without electricity as of midnight on Sept.
