Brexit fallout: Jeremy Corbyn speech
Brexit fallout: Jeremy Corbyn speech; Gary Gibbons (Journalist) asks question SOT
Jeremy Corbyn answers questions SOT
- I said clearly article 50 needs to be invoked / Boris Johnson said we don't have to do anything / Cameron is resigning, there will be no move until he is replaced / I cannot imagine other states don't want this to happen quickly / There are some people in the party who might want someone else / I am amazed that 140 thousand do not want a debate on the leadership / They want to demand a different strategy / Not promote tax giveaways / I have met and spoken to a lot of European nationals / One man thinks he has to leave, he is doing a great job and we need him / I hope there will be stability and rights to guarantee people can stay
- What was wrong was the lack of investment in communities / Gordon Brown brought in immigration fund / ECB has brought in greater instability / Has to be international objections / You grow your way to prosperity / You have a combination of an underfunded authority and greater demand / Importance has to be investment in communities not a blame game
- I do get concerned on stress on families / Has to be a recognition of those issues / Recognition of the contribution to society / Surely we have to recognise we achieve things better together / We are still paying the price for Thatcher's attack on industries
- All I can is I am committed to redistribution of wealth in the Labour Party / I represent a diverse constituency / I am proud of that / I can understand others don't have that / When I went to Cumbria in the floods the first people to turn up were from a mosque in Manchester / That is something to be proud of
