BARCELONA, SPAIN - AUG. 27: Hundreds of demonstrators gathered at Placa de Sant Jaume in Barcelona, Spain on Wednesday, Aug. 27, to condemn the killing of Palestinian journalists in Gaza.Participants carried flags and banners and chanted slogans against attacks on press freedom.Catalan journalists also joined the rally, emphasizing that targeting media workers aims to silence coverage of the conflict.The latest deaths raised the number of journalists killed in Gaza since October 2023 to 246, according to Gaza’s Government Media Office.Israel has killed nearly 63,000 Palestinians in Gaza since October 2023.
