Congressman Gomez points out household items set for price increases under Liberation Day tariffs
California Congressman Jimmy Gomez says at a news conference by the Dads Caucus to criticize Trump Administration trade and tariff policy for impacts on family incomes and household budgets that if they really started looking at how the tariffs would impact families with young kids that kept growing, they needed to get shoes replaced and buy diapers every day with a diaper box costing $45 and requiring two or three boxes a month, which would get more and more expensive, plus coffee would cost more making parents cranky without their morning coffee.
