A view of the headstone of J.R. Gregoire, a relative of Sophie Gregoire the wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, is pictured during the Canadian Prime Minister's visit with his family to the Canadian Military Cemetery of Beny-sur-Mer, northwestern France on April 10, 2017.
Trudeau is in France with his family where he led commemorations on April 9, for the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge which was part of a larger British-led offensive that included Australian soldiers, known as the Battle of Arras, which was a diversionary tactic to assist a major French attack further south. It was the first time that four military divisions from Canada fought together as the Canadian Corps.
