This picture taken on May 1, 2010 shows part of the outside of the newly built King Shaka International Airport officially opened today in La mercy, north of Durban. The airport has a 3,7 kilometre (2.3 mile) runway and will accommodate large aircrafts, including the Airbus A380. The 1,2 billion dollar airport will cater for thousands of local and international tourists and will be used for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa which host the 19th Football World Cup from June 11, to July 11, 2010.
