(Original Caption) 6/4/1964-London, England- The Beatles, minus drummer Ringo Starr, flew from England for three days of touring in the Netherlands and Denmark. Left to right: Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Jimmy Nicol, 24, drummer replacement for Ringo, and George Harrison. Ringo was ill with tonsilitis and laryngitis, and Nicol substituted, leaving Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames. Ringo will be back, it is hoped, in time for the Hong Kong tour and Australia tour.
