Indian visually challenged children play chess at a school run by the Blind Relief Association in New Delhi on April 9, 2009. The Blind Relief Association was established in 1944, for empowerment and rehabilitation of the visually challenged through providing them education, vocational training and a host of other services including free board and lodging to about 300 children/students of the school, teacher trainees, vocational trainees and impaired workers .
