National Portrait Gallery, London
LONDON, ENGLAND - SEPTEMBER 29, 2017: A circa 1592 portrait of England's Queen Elizabeth I (1533-1603) by Marcus Gheeraerts the Younger is on display at the National Portrait Gallery in London, England. The painting, known as 'The Ditchley portrait', was produced for Sir Henry Lee, who had served as the Queen's Champion from 1559-90. It probably commemorates an elaborate symbolic entertainment that Lee organized for the queen in 1592. (Photo by Robert Alexander/Getty Images)
