Children look through a slit in the classroom window at Madrasa Aziza Al-Islamia in Barangay Polonuling in Tupi municipality in the province of South Cotabato. Balik Tahderiyyah is a way to foster Tahderiyyah partnership within its community. It highlights the value of volunteerism, bringing together the teachers, mudeers (administrators), parents and other stakeholders within a community to work together. The Tahderiyyah program is an integrated early childhood education program designed to reach young children in hard to reach areas due to distance and the presence of armed-conflict in the communities. The aim of the program is to provide children with quality ECCD services to improve their hygiene practices, support development and learning, and strengthen the protective mechanisms for a safer community.
