Protest Against Base Relocation Continues

TOKYO, JAPAN - OCT. 27: Protests against the planned relocation of a U.S. military base to Nago in Japan's southernmost prefecture of Okinawa from another part of Okinawa continued after land minister Keiichi Ishii announced on Oct. 27, 2015, that he will suspend the Okinawa governor's attempt to prevent the state from moving ahead with the building of the replacement facility. A rally was held in front of the U.S. Marine Corps' Camp Schwab in Nago.
