Charite Hospital Presents Autonomous Bus Pilot Project
An electric minibus with autonomous driving ability is displayed at the Charite hospital and medical campus during a press event on March 26, 2018 in Berlin, Germany. Four electric minibuses will begin service at Charite today, and while each is capable of driving autonomously through its preprogrammed route, each will still have a technician on board to intervene in obstacle avoidance. The pilot project is a joint effort between Charite, the BVG Berlin transport authority and the German Ministry of Environment. (Footage by Sean Gallup/Getty Images)
