The mountain range of the Serres de Llevant is a heavily dissected hill country, which extends north in the municipality of Artà with the mountainous area of Artà to the northeast coast of Majorca at Cap de Ferrutx. The Serres de Llevant ("Mountains of the East") are a low mountain chain in the east of the Spanish Balearic island of Mallorca. It is located in the regions (Comarques) Llevant and Migjorn. The mountain range is formed from the highlands of Artà (Serra Artana or Massís d'Artà) in the north, the mountains of Calicant (Serra de Calicant), the southern highlands of Manacor / Felanitx and individual elevations, which represent foothills of the mountains, but today they appear spatially separate from these. The average height of the Mallorcan low mountain range in the east of the island is between 300 and 400 meters.
