The Cathedral of Guatemala is a two-tower structure of neoclassical and Baroque styles, designed and built in 1815.
It contains many works of art from the Cathedral of Antigua, the capital of Guatemala at the time. The Madonna was brought from Spain by Hernan Cortes in 1522, and the cathedral organ was installed in 1937.
