circa 1835: Tyrone Power (1797-1841). William Grattan Tyrone, Irish comedic actor. In 1826 he succeeded Charles Connor as the chief Irish comedian at the Drury Lane Theatre, London. He was lost at sea during an Atlantic crossing, when the ship 'President' went down in a storm in 1841.
