Thom Browne, American fashion designer, circa November 2007. Browne began his fashion career working as a salesman for Giorgio Armani, and eventually moved to Polo Ralph Lauren to lead the Club Monaco creative development team. After several years in the role, Browne launched his own label. In 2006 Browne partnered with Brooks Brothers as part of a guest designer programme, and Brooks Brothers eventually opened a standalone store for Browne's collection in New York City.
