Raising the Olympic Flag

The flag of the Olympiad is raised on the Manhattan over the largest U.S. Olympic squad ever to sail to present its case before the world's highest court of athletics. There are 334 competitors, cream of the crop, who sail in quest of the Olympic golden fleece. For a while it seemed as if the squad might be curtailed by lack of funds, but last minute flood of money enabled the team to sail at full strength.
