Duchess of Kent Shaking Hands with Sydney Schanberg

The Duchess of Kent shakes hands with New York Times correspondent Sydney Schanberg on her arrival for the Royal European Charity Premiere of The Killing Fields at the Warner Theatre, Leicester Square, London November 23. The film is based on true events affecting Schanberg and his colleague Dith Pran after the Khmer Rouge invasion of Phnom Penh in 1975. Schanberg is flanked by Dr. Haing S. Ngor, who played Dith Pran, and Sam Waterson, who played Schanberg.
