Prince Daniel Making a Hand Signal
(Original Caption) Senator Prince Daniel, Texas Democrat, gives the recognized hand signal for satisfaction as he chats with Commissioner of Narcotics Harry Anslinger after passage of Daniel's Bill (he's holding it) which provides for a possible death penalty for those convicted of selling heroin to juveniles. On recommendation of a jury, death sentence could also be imposed on those convicted for the third time of importing and selling heroin, which is outlawed by the legislation. Bill must now pass the House.
