Police forces arrive in Masaya, some 35 km from Managua, where supporters of Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega celebrate the 39th anniversary of the Sandinista military maneuver "El Repliegue" (The Retreat) on July 13, 2018 as the opposition holds a 24-hour general strike. - Ortega and his supporters began a procession from the capital to the opposition stronghold of Masaya to commemorate a significant event in the president's coming to power in 1979, known as the "The Retreat".
