(Original Caption) 10/6/1952-New York, NY- All eyes are raised towards the sky as umpire,catcher and batter watch the flight of Duke Snider's second home run of the sixth game of the 1952 World Series go sailing in the eight inning Oct. 6.The Dodger centerfielder tied the record of four round-trippers set by former World Series heroes Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth.Despite the efforts of the Duke,the Yankees took the game,3-2,letting the World Championship decision rest with the final game on the following day.
