A child struggles for her life as she did not receive timely vaccination. Naaz (30 months old) suffers from Brain Tuberculosis or Tubercular Meningitis. A vaccine preventable disease, had she been vaccinated by BCG at birth. Her brain has been severely affected and according to the treating doctors, she may never be in good health again in her entire life. Naaz was not vaccinated, according to her father, because their house is in a remote village in rural Bihar. The child contracted brain TB when she was in her village and was rushed to New Delhi for treatment.
