(Original Caption) Charlie Chaplin with Sid Grauman, Californias spectacular impresario. Grauman was among those who made the famous gold rush to the Klondike in 1898. He accompanied Chaplin to the scenes of the new comedy on Alaska which Chaplin is now working on and is acting as advisor in staging the scenes as he remembers them from way back in '98.
