ELON MOREH, WEST BANK - NOVEMBER 21, 1979: An Israeli soldier on guard duty November 21, 1979 outside the mobile home settlement of Elon Moreh on the western side of the West Bank Palestinian town of Nablus. After being forcibly evacuated by the Israeli army from the nearby Sebastia train station seven times since the Summer of 1974, the pioneering West Bank settlers' dream was finally realized when they received government permission to move their settlement of Elon Moreh to the Israeli army base at Qaddum in December 1975.
