SLUG: ME/PROTEST a coalition of activists from Homes Not Jails and the Homeless Association, march from Union Station to a boarded up house in NE and attempt to place a family recently burned out of their apartment. Pictured, Jamie Loughner, in red cap, of Homes Not Jails, attempts to talk her way onto the property to collect trash. DC Police would not allow the demonstrators on the property, although a few got there early enough to get inside the house.
