Kurdish Forces retake key strategic town of Sinjar with support from British Airstrikes

VOICED: Shows Exterior shots Kurdish fighters and volunteers making their way into town of Sinjar past debris and destroyed buildings. Voxpops with fighters and Kurdish General on fighting ISIS. Exterior shots Islamic State prisoner being driven away in a truck. As well as that drone strike in Syria, the fight against Islamic State is continuing in Northern Iraq. This route -- Highway 47 -- is used as a main supply line by the extremists. It goes from Raqqa, east to Mosul -- which is one of the militants' key strongholds in Iraq. Today Sinjar right at the centre of that supply chain has been taken from Islamic State by Kurdish fighters -- effectively cutting off the all-important route on November 12, 2015 in Mosul, Iraq.
